Youth 2 Innovation Contest Results

Finally, the results of the Youth 2 Innovation business idea/plan contest, dedicated to young people from Eastern Europe and Central Asia were announced by the jury I have been member of.

The winners of the three places offering the opportunity to participate to the Global Business Incubation Forum in Brazil in this May are:

1. Alexey Leontiniev - Russia - Creating Scientific System Integrator as progressive form of business incubation development
2. Krstevski Dean - Macedonia - Finex Pro. (Financial Expert Pro)
3. Steliana Economu - Romania - Ithaca ˆ a journey back to Rural Life

At the end, out of the three Romanian applicants one was really successful. The other two were placed 13th and 15th, respectively, out of 21 received applications.

Concluding, applications from the Romanian entrepreneurs-to-be were not impressing on none of the two scales: quantity and quality.

If I am mentioning that Steliana Economu lives in The Hague and that she works for Shell since 2006, the overall image becomes even dimmer...

Anunțam în urmă cu câteva săptămâni competiția de idei/planuri de afaceri intitulată Youth 2 Innovation, organizată de către rețeaua ECAbit, și care avea ca și termen de depunere a aplicațiilor data de 28 februarie.

La cantitate, România nu stă prea grozav, în opinia mea...
